I was asked to write this for a year 8 production of Twelfth Night at St Paul's Steiner School.

They wanted it to sound Eastern European and I drew on my experience with Macedonian songs which often start in unison and then dramatically expand into three parts.

Coming out of a long illness these words came to me as an uplifting, circular, never ending sort of chant.
